Myrtle Beach Restaurant Week Jan 14-22, 2011





MYRTLE BEACH - Here’s a New Year’s Resolution for you: Be good to your taste buds!  In January, food lovers across the Grand Strand can dine in style at some of the area’s best restaurants for a fraction of the cost of a regular meal.
Restaurant Week Myrtle Beach, a part of South Carolina Restaurant Week is a nine-day celebration to be held Jan.14-22, 2011, where restaurant lovers can explore a world of dining possibilities during the most delicious week of the year. 
From fine dining to casual, participating restaurants will feature special menu items, promotions and discounts. Diners can sample new restaurants or dine at old favorites while tasting a variety of exceptional dishes being prepared by chefs at a great value.
The event is a reminder that the Myrtle Beach area is a culinary destination with top chefs, farm to table dining, wonderful wine and a lot more to discover and explore. 
Participating restaurants range from family friendly to candlelight chic and include 3500 Grill at the Prince Resort, Aspen Grille, Café Amalfi at the Hilton Myrtle Beach Resort, Captain Dave’s Dockside Restaurant, Creek Ratz, Croissants Bistro and Bakery, Drunken Jacks Restaurant and Lounge, Hard Rock Cafe, House of Blues, Just Off Main at Avista Resort, Ruth's Chris Steak House, The Melting Pot, Vidalia’s Restaurant at the Sheraton Myrtle Beach Convention Center Hotel, and Waterscapes at Marina Inn Grande Dunes.
Restaurant Week Myrtle Beach is part of Restaurant Week South Carolina, an exciting event developed to showcase the outstanding culinary scene throughout the state of South Carolina. The South Carolina Hospitality Association in partnership with its local chapters and partners, the Greater Charleston Restaurant Association, the Greater Greenville Hospitality Chapter, the Columbia Restaurant Association, and the Myrtle Beach Area Hospitality Association, along with the Columbia Metropolitan Convention and Visitors Bureau, the Greenville Convention & Visitors Bureau, the Charleston Convention & Visitors Bureau, the Florence Chamber of Commerce, The Beaufort Chamber of Commerce, the Myrtle Beach Area Chamber of Commerce and the South Carolina Department of Parks Recreation and Tourism, have come together to create this event, which will showcase South Carolina as a premiere dining destination for local, regional and national food lovers.
